Building a game iteratively with a local Pi harness

A non-professional developer uses a local model in small, iterative steps to build a long-term personal game project.

The author is using a local model to build a game they have always wanted to make, working iteratively rather than asking for a complete one-shot implementation. Pi, extended with selected packages, provides the harness and the work is deliberately broken into small pieces. The converted gaming PC has 64GB of VRAM and 32GB of DDR5 system memory. The workflow is slower than using a frontier model, but the author considers the speed acceptable for a personal project and uses cloud APIs only when a particularly difficult issue arises.
