Setting up and babysitting a Raspberry Pi camera over SSH

A local model SSHes into a Raspberry Pi to configure a kitchen security-camera stream plus a watcher that restores it after power or connection loss.

This person uses a local model for general computer tasks, including configuring other machines over SSH. In one example they had it connect to a Raspberry Pi running a kitchen security-camera monitor, set up the stream and configure a script and watcher that keep the stream connected and displayed after power outages or connection problems.

The whole thing took about ten minutes and has been reliable. The same setup also handles lighter family use, such as turning requests for dinner recipes into a recipe journal. Their broader point is that tasks which used to take hours of research or a weekend can now be delegated to the model after a little research.
